is responsible for inspecting, monitoring and permitting public swimming pools and spas. There are
380 of these facilities at hotels, motels, condominiums, parks, schools and social and civic
organizations.
Environmental Health staff curremtly permits and inspects those public swimming pools and spas twice each year. EH also reviews monthly reports submitted by hotels, condos and apartment complexes. This program recently received its second consecutive "Perfect" scores and an "Excellent" state audits.
