In addition to HIV/STD/TB counseling and testing, the program provides hepatitis education, counseling, testing and immunization to the inmates at the county jail.
This program has been extremely successful at immunizing high risk susceptible inmates and their community contacts. It has achieved an unprecedented 30% completion rate for vaccination series in a highly non-compliant population. |
