The show airs twice weekly to a viewing audience of over 150,000 viewers in St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River Counties.

Each show is planned and hosted by Health Education Director, Helga Snure, and features a broad variety of gues experts and knowledgable staff. The programs focus on current and timely health issues relevant to our community. The show also serves as the ideal venue to showcase the wide range of programs and services available at the St. Lucie County Health Department. Health Beat has been running for the past seven years and was the recipient of a 2004 Florida Tax Watch Davis Productivity Award.
